During a tumultuous year that presented unique challenges and uncertainties for the oil and gas industry, DIS led the way in pioneering innovative solutions that saved clients valuable time and money without sacrificing safety or efficiency.

As we look forward to what this new year will bring, we’re also taking a moment to reflect upon all that has been accomplished over the past 12 months—and we’re excited to share some of our biggest highlights with you.

 

Charting New Waters

As global events caused an unexpected scramble to diversify regional oil and gas sources, we were ready to meet those demands with tools already implemented around the world and a team well-versed in meeting the rigorous standards imposed by any drilling territories.

In The United Kingdom

We were excited to announce the formation of a partnership with Titan Torque Ltd., a leading oil and gas service company based out of Aberdeen, Scotland. This partnership will allow us to expand our cost and time-saving services to the United Kingdom and beyond.

We are looking forward to a successful and productive partnership with Titan Torque, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for both of our teams.

In South America

The recent employment of multiple Sentinel Drilling Safety Float Valves with Ecopetrol for a Shell Deepwater Drillship project played a key role in the discovery of a deepwater natural gas well in the offshore waters of Colombia. Our team is proud to have aided in a major discovery that will help meet the world’s ever-growing energy demands.

We would like to extend a huge thanks to Shell for choosing our products and for trusting us to support their efforts—and to Ecopetrol for their substantial involvement in this project. We look forward to many more successful discoveries in the future.

 

Making A Splash in the Industry

As an industry leader, DIS participated in The 2022 Society of Petroleum Engineers/IADC Well Intervention Conference & Exhibition and the American Association of Drilling Engineers F5 Cookout. At these events, we created new connections and strengthened existing ones with oil and gas operators from across the industry. We enjoyed demonstrating to attendees how our world-class tools are slashing our partners’ costs while reducing their rig time and are thrilled by the overwhelmingly positive feedback we received.

DIS is looking forward to participating in more events like these as we continue to provide new and innovative solutions and forge new partnerships in the future!
